We are well into registrations for 2012. Many weeks are full. Be sure to call our office to discuss availability or details of our different city's programs. Don't delay.

Register your mission trip today!  Register your church group, missions trip, or school group with the registration form.  We accept registrations until week is full but we limit participants to protect our neighborhoods and our facilities.

Our regular rate for 2012 is $295 per person for a week.
College groups serve for $275 per week.

ARE YOU Interested in living and serving in a Dwell community starting in January!?
Atlanta is starting a new house of Dwellers the end of January. Apply today!

This year we have nine Dwell teams serving in 6 cities. All the Dwellers have developed their living covenants, started with orientation and opening retreats. This week, Dwellers are settling into their service sites and have begun learning from the incredible leaders within our communities. Soon each house will be hosting house warming parties.

Overview

DOOR is a faith-based network of six cities that provides opportunities for service, learning and leadership development within the urban context.  We highlight the strengths of our cities; believing this is best accomplished through collaboration, mutuality and partnership.  We host volunteers from a weekend to a year and include opportunities for individuals and groups.

Mission Statement

Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection (DOOR) is a faith based network of urban service-learning programs that expose, educate, challenge, and motivate participants to respond to the issues and concerns facing an increasingly urban world.  Program offerings range from a weekend to a year and include opportunities for individuals and groups.

DOOR invites our Discover, Discern and Dwell participants to See the face of God in the city.

By experiencing God’s love and shalom in ever-expanding new ways we can share and demonstrate God’s alternatives to the evils of racism, poverty and violence that tear down our communities and lives.
